Meghan Daulton, N.P., R.D.

Nurse Practitioner

Meghan Daulton grew up in Rockport, Massachusetts.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from James Madison University in Virginia, and completed her dietetic internship at Stephen F. Austin State University.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Cleveland State University in conjunction with the Cleveland Clinic. She then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 2015.

Meghan has worked at Surgical Group of the Woodlands since obtaining her NP Certification.  She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, Certified Bariatric Nurse, and Registered Nurse First Assist.  Her interests primarily are focused on the pre-, post- and intra-operative care of the bariatric patient which includes dietary principles, exercise, and comorbidities associated with the obese patient.

Meghan is married with two boys.  She enjoys watching her boys play sports, being outdoors, exercising, cooking, and watching Boston sports teams.
